Surveillance Investigator

Work Location: On the road/Home for report typing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled surveillance investigator with expertise in video documentation for insurance cases, or the ability to learn how to obtain video for insurance cases. Must be responsible for conducting covert surveillance, capturing high-quality evidence, and preparing investigative reports. This position plays a vital role in helping our clients make informed decisions regarding insurance claims and will have the ability to testify in court.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discreet field surveillance on subjects to capture video evidence related to insurance fraud.
- Operate and maintain high-quality video recording equipment to ensure clear, admissible, and usable evidence
- Utilize various investigative techniques, including vehicle and foot surveillance
- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and company guidelines during investigations
- Prepare and submit daily surveillance updates and logs in addition to video evidence
- Communicate effictevely with supervisors as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and work in various locations and conditions.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in surveillance, investigations, or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
- Some knowledge of video recording equipment and decent with computers and technology
- Excellent observational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with no points on your record
- Ability to work irregular hours including early mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays as required.
